The Secretary of State has granted the club approval under section 15 of the Firearms (amendment) Act 1988, subject to the payment of the approval fee. The payment is being sorted out and should be with the Home Office by the end of the week. From there it should be a relatively short period of time to the official approval being issued. As soon as this arrives I shall be looking at booking a range at Bisley for the club's inaugural shoot. I would like to make a weekend of it so that we can stay on the camp and have a few drinks. I would like to arrange the shoot for the Easter Weekend. As soon as I know more I shall post details on the forum and the home page. We are nearly up and running.
The payment has been accepted and the club has become a legally approved club.
